Head of B2B Marketing (Direct Response)
Profile
- 100% Demand Side
- 100% Outside the Firewall
- Time Spent on Phone Each Day – Moderate
- Time Spent on Travel – Minimal
- Full decision-making control over significant B2B Direct
Response marketing budget
Responsibilties
- Generate B2B Leads – create and execute direct-response
strategies that will compel sales organizations and/or sales professional
to inquire about or request more information or a DoublePositive program
offering
- Inquiry channels include, phone, web-based forms, email,
and live chat
- Direct-response strategies include (but are not limited
to), Search Engine Marketing (both paid and natural search), email
marketing (offering white papers and dedicated landing pages), pay-per-call,
online display advertising (primarily through targeted B2B sites such
as LinkedIn), paid placements, direct mail, print media, B2B telemarketing,
etc.
- Constantly monitor, track, report, and optimize all
strategies and campaigns in order to ensure diversification and maximum
ROI relative to B2B lead volume requirements
- The creation/development of one new White Papers per
quarter
Keys of Success
- The primary key metric for success is the average acquisition
cost per new customer, and maintaining a cost/quality balance that
adheres to company targets.
- The secondary key metric for success is the volume of
inquiries generated overall, and ensuring the blend of the total inquiries
is aligned with company targets for each program offering.
- Volume sufficient to generate $2M in revenue in 2008

- Search Engine Marketing (both paid and natural)
- Email Marketing
- Internet Marketing
- Direct-response Marketing
- Direct Mail Marketing
- Strong Technical Background
